Holly tree releasing spell
This morning a familiar energy called me into the woods. I woke up feeling whole, balanced and knowing I will be doing some restorative magic. After having a heart-felt conversation with a friend the call of the forest increased and armed with a small white candle and my charged palms (my hands buzz before doing a spell) I stepped on a path familiar on my way to the sacred grove.
At a distance very clearly as I approached I saw a face of a maiden (beautiful she was) outlined at the entrance to the woods, which then changed to a crone’s face. It made me smile and I bowed as I always do entering the forest.
I sat on a familiar Holly tree and created a place for my energies to be sent into a simple white candle with dry leaves around it representing release (a word also inscribed on my candle). Holly tree is very of the season and to me it spoke of unconditional love, resilience and protection. I invited all the elements to assist me with this work. Fire to transform, Air to clarify, Earth to neutralise and Water to cleanse. It felt just right as I recalled names of people who are in need of a release from a soul turmoil right now. Two people in particular. As I released the energy from my palms to all four directions I saw and heard the last remaining leaves falling off trees all around me and I saw a deer just a few meters away from me. We looked and acknowledged each other for a few minutes before he walked off. Deer is sacred to me and they symbolise tender heart, purity, divine energy and sensitive nature. I thought of both, my friend and my sister, both in need of reminding of their prime qualities. I asked for peace in the world and a release of all that is no longer in service to us. It is waning moon right now and the right time to let things go.
As the candle was about to burn out I picked up a couple of leaves surrounding the candle circle and burnt them in the flame and once done I collected it all together and buried it under the tree in rich, most soil. It is one my of my favourite spells, which can be adopted depending on what’s needed. It always feels great afterwards.
I exited the grove and the woods with a bow and on my return I engaged with the water element by taking a shower to reinvigorate my energy back.

Spell casting in nature
Now that autumn is upon the earth my spell casting season begins. During the next three months my intuition will be leading me in a direction of the best service to myself, others and nature at large and I will be weaving magic in my Nemeton to facilitate all needs and desires.
The air is fresher and cooler now. It rained yesterday and I found myself exhaling with joy while standing outside allowing myself be washed with gentle water. On my way to the woods this morning I noticed how rich the air is with fruit, bark, earth, mushrooms and everything that is Gaia. I smiled and bowed to the trees at the entrance to my sacred space.
Prosperity spell
For those of you who are familiar with my craft my magic is all intuitive and I work inside as well as outside whenever I am called to perform a ritual or cast a spell.
This is a simple spell to attract prosperity and success. All you need is a yellow candle, Basil and wording of your own choosing which you chant while your candle is burning. Bury remains in a place of your choice and Mote it Be!

Lammas Full Moon magic 2015
What is Magic?
It is a state of being when one is in alignment with the universal energies and able to focus their intention on bringing the energies together to manifest what is needed and desired. It is manipulation of energies and the ability to direct its flow in a direction and form that will bring a need or a desire to fruition.
Today we are celebrating Lammas 2015, the very first harvest festival of the year when Celtic God Lugh is present in its power of creativity, skill and talent. Today we are reflecting upon our results and looking back at the seeds that we had sown back in spring. Today we see the harvest of our labour, as it is in nature, so it is within us. We went through a cycle of birth and death and transformation again and again to get to this point when our labour is rewarded with fruits of imagination, intent and devotion to the path, craft, job, vocation, family, etc. It is gathering together in the moment of truth, here it is, we are here in this moment to witness what IS in front of us and make a decision on the direction forward.
Our allotment has been giving us gifts for the last couple of month and today, as I walk along the vegetable beds I smell maturity, nourishing scent of soil and a call to dig dipper into the Earth to bring up yet more gifts laying beneath. I dig up some carrots and what a satisfaction, as I pull them out one by one with anticipation and joy no knowing the exact shape, size or colour. In parallel with our own inner intentions when we set them we aim to achieve what we desired yet there is a state of unknowing that we have to be with, always, and it is beautiful, that feeling of anticipation of not knowing what is to come, what is going to manifest exactly. That is magic.
Moon cycles are important aspect in magic and each cycle corresponds to a particular phase in our reality and what we wish to manifest.
With the New/Dark Moon we plant seeds within our reality, our psyche wishing to see results manifesting all the way up to the Full Moon.
When the Moon is waxing we look to bring things IN, to bring IN more of what we desire.
At Full Moon, many spells will work great looking to maximise whatever you desire or to confirm something. Abundance, Success, Peace and Love spells will power up during magic working at Full Moon.
When the Moon is waning we release, let go of anything that no longer is serving us on our path towards wholeness.
I have a new e-guide coming up soon, which focuses on working with candles and oils in accordance with Moon cycles. It is a simple and beautiful way to work magic, which anyone will find easy enough to understand, digest and work with.

Lammas Blue Full Moon ritual and spell (31/1 August 2015)
I love performing Fire spells during Full Moon. Fire is such an active, dynamic, passionate and alive element, in which one can feel the energies of propelling things forward, burning away anything that stands in the way with an aim to clear the path for more beautiful things to come into our reality.
I did a Sigil spell this Full Moon. The energy was very concentrated and potent during this calm, mild and clear summer night. I sat outside with my Sigil rolled up ready for the burning ceremony in front of my cauldron. I felt great, energised and gazing into the silvery disc of the Lady Moon, I inhaled her deeply and exhaled any residue, which had no part in my being anymore.
I lit a red candle and placed my sigil in the flames focusing on the desire, wish, need, which was within the sigil and playing with the Fire through my eyes and hands I went deeply into the magic of working the energy. It danced and changed, increased and decreased in its intensity, faces came up in the wax and the flames, as well as ashes of the paper burnt. Mesmerising and deeply knowing feeling enveloped my senses as I sat on the grass watching the Fire burn. Beautiful!
I hope you all enjoyed the magical time of Lammas and the Blue Full Moon this year and manifested an open-heart to all the wonderful things that are yet to come, as the Earth turns its wheel taking us on many more discoveries, beautiful manifestations and joyous experiences.
